Build Your Own Rajasthan Tour

Any number of days, any cities, any pace. Same personal driver and car from the first morning to the last, and the same one fixed price.

No advance payment to see a price. Every quote is a fixed, all-in figure for the car with your personal driver — you only pay for hotels and entry tickets separately.

Why a personal driver with car

The Difference Between
a Tour and a Journey

A group bus keeps its own timetable. A car with a personal driver keeps yours — and in Rajasthan, where the best moments happen between the cities, that changes everything.

One fixed price. Car with personal driver included.

  1. 01

    Your day, your timetable

Leave at sunrise for the fort, take three hours over lunch, or skip a stop entirely. The car and the driver are yours alone — nobody is waiting on a coach for you.

  2. 02

    Stop anywhere between cities

Stepwells, village markets, a potter's workshop, a chai stall with a view. The drives between Rajasthan's cities are half the trip, and your driver knows where to pull over.

  3. 03

    A driver who speaks English

Not just a wheel and a car: someone who orders the right thali, finds the pharmacy, explains what a procession is about and keeps the touts at a distance.

  4. 04

    One fixed price, agreed first

Car, driver, fuel, tolls, parking and the driver's own food and stay — all in the figure we send you. No per-kilometre surprises at the end of the trip.

  5. 05

Door to door, city to city

Airport pickup, hotel drop, luggage handled, and the same familiar car waiting outside every morning of your journey.

About India Heritage Trails

Drivers Who Know Rajasthan
Better Than Any Map

We are a small Jaipur family business. We own our cars, we know every driver personally, and we have been taking European guests across Rajasthan for years.

Our drivers are not agency staff sent out for the day. They know which gate at Amber Fort has no queue at nine in the morning, which dhaba on the Jodhpur road is worth stopping at, and which village potter still works the old way. They speak English, they drive carefully, and they have the patience for a journey that changes its mind halfway through.

Most of our guests come from the UK, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, Spain and Scandinavia. Everything is agreed in writing before you travel: the route, the car, and one fixed price with the personal driver included.

  • Own cars, own drivers — no subcontracting
  • Clean, air-conditioned sedans and SUVs
  • Written itinerary and fixed price before you pay anything

Our approach

Why Book Your Driver & Car With Us?

01

Our own cars and drivers

Nothing is subcontracted. The car that meets you is ours, and the driver has worked with us for years.

02

English-speaking, guest-trained

Every driver speaks English and is used to European guests, their questions, their pace and their food.

03

One fixed, all-in price

Car, driver, fuel, tolls, parking, and the driver’s own meals and accommodation. Agreed before you travel.

04

Reply within one hour

Send three fields and you get a real answer from a real person, usually within the hour.

05

Flexible on the road

Change a stop, add a night, leave earlier. Tell your driver — nothing has to go through an office.

06

Safe, comfortable vehicles

Air-conditioned, regularly serviced, seat belts front and back, and space for real luggage.

Looking beyond Rajasthan?

Madhya Pradesh

From Rajasthan's royal heritage, continue deeper into India with Madhya Pradesh — a region of ancient temples, remarkable wildlife, historic cities and lesser-known cultural treasures. It combines easily with a Rajasthan itinerary, usually as an extension of four to seven days.

Get My Free Quote

What exactly does "personal driver with car" include?

A private, air-conditioned car reserved only for you and an English-speaking driver who stays with you for the whole trip. The price covers the car, the driver, fuel, tolls, state taxes, parking and the driver’s own meals and accommodation. You pay separately only for your hotels, meals and monument entry tickets.

Can I stop wherever I want along the way?

Yes, and most guests do. Stepwells, village markets, craft workshops, a chai stop with a view of the fort — tell your driver and the car pulls over. There is no fixed schedule to keep, because the car with your personal driver is yours for the day.

Will the driver pick me up from the airport or my hotel?

Yes. Your driver meets you at the arrivals gate with a name board, or at your hotel reception, and drops you back at the end of the tour. Airport pickup and drop are included in every package.

Is the price fixed, or per kilometre?

Fixed. We send one all-in figure for your whole route before you book anything, and that is what you pay. There are no per-kilometre charges, night charges or end-of-trip additions.

Does the driver speak English?

Every driver we work with speaks conversational English and is used to European guests. Drivers who speak German, French, Italian or Spanish can be arranged on request, as can a separate licensed guide in each city — please ask early, as availability is limited.

Which car will I travel in?

For two people a sedan such as a Toyota Etios or Swift Dzire; for three to five, an SUV like an Innova Crysta; and a tempo traveller for larger groups. All air-conditioned, regularly serviced, with proper luggage space. We confirm the exact vehicle in your quote.

How far in advance should I book?

For travel between October and March, three to six months ahead is ideal, especially around Christmas, New Year and the Pushkar fair. Outside those periods a few weeks is usually enough, and we can often arrange a car at short notice.

Can I change the route after we start?

Yes. Add a night in Udaipur, skip Bikaner, take a different road — just tell your driver. If the change affects the distance we will agree any difference with you first, in writing.

Can Rajasthan be combined with Agra, Delhi or Madhya Pradesh?

Easily. Delhi and Agra sit naturally at the start of a Rajasthan route, and Madhya Pradesh works as a four to seven day extension for Khajuraho, Orchha, the Panna safari and the tiger parks. The same car and driver continue with you throughout.

Do I need to pay in advance?

You pay nothing to receive a quote. Once you are happy with the route and price, a small advance confirms the car and driver for your dates, and the balance is settled at the end of the tour. Bank transfer, card and cash are all accepted.
